Teaching kids in the park at VBS. In this picture Travis Cross is teaching while Simona , our interpreter, is translating him into Romania. We had about 100 children in the mornings for our VBS programs.
These are the sarmales we ate so many of. They have alot of parsley on top in this picture, but underneath are cabbage rolls stuffed with meat and rice. The peppers on the plate below were very hot.
Here's a view from behind the puppet stage during VBS. I (Sara) am talking to the puppet in English with Simona (over on the left) translating me into Romanian. Olivia (another translator) is behind the stage with Anna voicing the puppet in Romanian.
